A video game executive has been publically vilified by his own daughter for his questionable recruitment ethos.

Alex St. John  caused an uproar in the game industry when he released an article telling video game developers to stop complaining about the insanely long hours and low pay in their industry because this is creating "a culture of victimology and a bad attitude towards their chosen vocations."

During the furore, a slide deck he created for recruiting came to light that was so sexist and offensive it was labelled “gross” by others in the industry, Business Insider reports.
