Women account for 51% of roles in UK financial services.
However, 73% of these women are in administrative and secretarial roles, according to a report by the Equality and Human Rights commission.
Data collated by McKinsey highlights the positive impact of gender inclusion. Women in senior positions can increase return on equity by 53%, boost return on sales by 42% and achieve 66% more return on invested capital.
TSB represent women in all levels of their business; with females making up over a third of their executive team, Board and top 150 partners. Furthermore, just under half of their managers are women.
