86% of employees are frustrated by the level of noise in their offices, according to a new report.
The study, which was conducted by social enterprise Ideas for Ears, interviewed 259 office workers in the UK. It found that 74% of respondents reported a negative impact from noise or the way they hear in meetings, at conferences or on the phone.
A further 70% claimed that they often have difficulties hearing in meetings, whilst 63% said they sometimes or regularly have difficulties hearing at training events or conferences.
The findings have highlighted the issue of noise levels in the office, and how this negatively impacts on company productivity and staff morale.
