SRAM, the Chicago-based bike component manufacturer, has created an office that is completely compatible with cycling, Co.Design reports.
After 15 years the firm had to relocate, and seized this as an opportunity to move everyone under one roof and rubberstamp their culture on the workplace.
As most employees cycle to work, there is 200 bike racks in the basement, as well as a locker room with showers and a bike-washing station. There are another 200 racks upstairs which were designed by workers in a contest, so that each one could display their bike with pride.
