Adopting a resourcing strategy to benefit the whole company can be difficult, but for Toyota (GB) the key is continuous improvement.
Robin Giles, Director of Human Resources and Corporate Operations, said building a continuously improving talent base is key to resourcing a company from entry level to management.
"Toyota adopts a unique approach to resourcing, which combines Kaizen, or continuous improvement, of the organisation with the active development of staff through rotation and internal transfers across the company," he said.
"This means that we are always seeking process improvement and enhanced standardisation to enable resource efficiencies to be achieved in a dynamic and proactive manner, without having to regularly make wide-reaching changes across the company."
