Homeless man given second chance in heart-warming hiring tale

Recruiters can find candidates in the most unlikely of places, they just need to open their eyes to the possibilities. 

That is one of the takeaways from a heart-warming story about a business owner who recently offered a homeless man a job when he came into her place of work begging for food.

Cesia Abigail, who owns Abi's Café in Minnesota, explained in a recent interview with CBS News that when she launched her business over one year ago, one of her first hires was a man named Marcus.

Marcus came into her café one day, asking for money, when Abigail asked him about his circumstances. He explained that he had been living on the streets since he was 16, and that he couldn’t find a job because employers wouldn’t consider him with his criminal history.
