Sundar Pichai is having a good year. Not only was he appointed to the role of CEO at Google in October, now it has been revealed that he has received over $100million in his pay package.
Pichai received $99.8million (£69.3million) in restricted stock, according to a filing posted by parent company Alphabet on Tuesday. He also received a $652,500 (£453,396) salary, Bloomberg reports.
The CEO now owns an estimated $635million (£441million) in Google shares, according to Bloomberg.
Google Co-Founder Larry Page now runs the company’s search engine unit. The filing reveals Alphabet awarded him with shares valued at $199million (£138million).
