A political faction backing the motion to leave the EU has been accused of “double standards beyond parody”, after hiring migrant workers to voice their campaign.
Leave.EU, backed by UKIP, states on their website that migrant workers often “deprive British citizens of jobs” – a fact they chose to ignore when hiring people to staff their call centres.
According to the Guardian, Leave.EU employs four workers from EU countries, including Slovakia – each of whom have been hired to rally voters across the UK to back the Brexit.
Leave.EU’s major donor Arron Banks, had previously stated to The Guardian: “I don’t feel any affinity towards French, Germans and Spaniards. I’d much rather deal with my own kith and kin.”
