Social experiment used to recruit the 'right' people

 

A recruitment drive has used a social experiment to shed light on some uncomfortable issues surrounding poverty.

The New Zealand Police Department filmed hundreds of people ignoring a homeless boy digging through a rubbish bin, searching for food.

The stunt, entitled “Hungry Boy”, is part of a national recruitment drive aimed at attracting more people into the force. The video poses the question: “Do you care enough to be a cop?”
