Donald Trump, Chairman and President of The Trump Organisation, utilised a press conference as a hiring platform yesterday.

Eschewing the normal routine of application-interview-deliberation-decision, he went with his “gut instinct” and selected an individual that made what he saw what was a great first impression.

At a news conference in Washington DC, USA, Alicia Watkins, who identified herself as a 9/11 survivor and a retired Air Force member of staff, asked Trump if his new hotel in Washington would include a veterans employment scheme.
