B&Q have left employees feeling “powerless” after they were forced to sign a new contract, the Mirror reports.
The terms of this new contract dictate that summer and winter bonuses will be no more, with double time for Sundays ditched and add-ons reduced.
The Mirror has seen internal B&Q documents which say staff have until Thursday to sign on the dotted line. Those who do not “re-engage” will leave the following week.
One worker told the paper their final pay packet will decrease by over £1,000 annually. “B&Q is being greedy”, they said.
