A former worker at MJM International is taking his employer, Ultimo Founder Michelle Mone, to an employment tribunal over claims of bullying, sexual discrimination and harassment.
This is the fourth tribunal the bra millionaire and Tory adviser’s company has faced in recent years. The lingerie tycoon’s company has either lost or settled the other three cases, according to the Sun.
The latest case is being brought by a former Office Manager named Mark Ali. He is scheduled to present his accusations in a preliminary hearing in April. The full case is scheduled for July.
Mone founded the lingerie brand Ultimo together with her ex-husband. The company, MJM International, was sold to the Sri Lankan company MAS Holdings in 2013. While MJM International has been involved in three high-profile employment tribunals in recent years, one of Mone’s representatives claims that the Tory peer has not been involved in any previous tribunals and denies the claims levied by Ali.
