HR professionals understand the importance of good work-life balance better than most. Yet, a quarter of people within the sector don’t have time for their hobbies, according to new research from Pod Space.
This research does not shine a favourable light on those working in a function that does its utmost to promote a healthy work-life balance. Good HR practises stem from the top. Those in charge of strategy need to show that they practice what they preach. Without this, people initiatives lose all validity.
And it seems that HR professionals are not alone in having too little time left after working hours to pursue their hobbies.
2,000 UK workers were surveyed. The results reveal that 65% believe that they do not have enough time for their hobbies.
