Almost a third of UK employees admitted that their co-workers’ moaning was one of the biggest annoyances in their workplace.
Research from webexpenses looked into staff’s most hated office gripes, from claiming expenses to decaying technology, to bring a definitive list of the most repellent office behaviour.
Traits which made the list included co-workers getting involved in office politics (19%), colleagues being too loud and disruptive (18%) and partaking in “water-cooler” gossip.
Employees also highlighted their struggles with admin, with over half of the respondents (58%) saying that claiming expenses back from their company was akin to pulling teeth. A further 68% explained that making work-related purchases on their personal bank card was a huge annoyance.
