Redsky Learning: Why you're managing Millennials wrong

Millennials may be the most demanding generation in the workplace, but there are benefits to having a Gen Y-workforce.

“Millennials are tech savvy,” Diane Coolican, Managing Director at Redsky Learning, tells HR Grapevine. “They probably know the answer to a tech question that would take you hours to figure out. What’s not great about that?”

However, she argues that too many employers don’t take advantage of their Millennial workforce. In fact, Coolican believes managers tend to see the people born around the 90s as disruptive - and she is not alone.

Cascade HR recently surveyed 1,000 bosses and senior level managers. The results showed that Milennials were seen as the most demanding generation in the workforce.
