BBC weather presenter's live fainting highlights HR issue

 

The plight of a BBC weather presenter who fainted on live TV due to a “horrible virus” has highlighted the need for up-to-date workplace first aid training.

BBC South East presenter Rachel Mackley was giving a weather update last Friday when she came across faint, saying “I’m so sorry, I’m going to faint” before tumbling backwards off set and passing out.
