Man bites, chews and eats boss’ dog

Two factory workers were fired after they ate their employer’s dog last week. A third employee, who killed the dog, has been arrested for theft, the South China Morning Post reports. The incident happened in Xuzhou in eastern China. The arrested employee, named Zhang, had found the corgi in a factory bathroom. Believing it was a stray dog, he beat it to death with a stick and took it back to the employee dormitory where the other two workers helped him shave and skin the dog. They ate it the next day.

It was only when the factory owner started putting up posters for the missing dog that they found out that not only did the dog belong to their boss’ daughter, but that it was also worth about £1,300.
