Everyone has an opinion on whether we should stay in the EU or not. HR professionals are no exception.
HR Grapevine posted the question ‘In or out? What would a Brexit mean for HR and recruitment?’ on LinkedIn, and here are some of the responses.
Martin Percival, HR Director - Europe & Emerging Markets at CooperVision, commented: “Longer term it could restrict the freedom of movement of labour and, for a skills short UK, that could be bad news.”
David Head, a Coach at Accelerating Experience, wrote: “It would be bad from a skills and integration perspective. Since the Second World War and before, we have relied on migration to fill certain skill gaps. We may not have won the Battle of Britain without Polish pilots to name but one [example].”
