Car manufacturer Nissan has come up with a rather unique way of keeping offices neat and tidy, whilst improving their employer brand at the same time.
“Intelligent Parking Chairs” utilise Wi-Fi and sensors to spin 360 degrees, locate a target position and put themselves away. According to the MailOnline, the gadget was designed with Okamura chairs, that are tracked by four motion cameras placed “at various strategic angles within a room.”
These cameras transmit data back to the chairs in order to generate “a bird's-eye view to wirelessly transmit the chair's position and its route to destination.”
