Regina Moran, CEO Fujitsu UK & Ireland, on how HR can ease the 'digitisation' of companies

Wherever you look - Facebook at Work replacing your emails, robots the future of your workforce or flexible working undermining the indispensable nature of the office as a place you work – the progress of technology is rampant.        

Speaking to Executive Grapevine, Regina Moran, CEO Fujitsu UK & Ireland, spoke about how HR can ease the ‘digitisation’ of companies. She highlighted research that Fujitsu conducted which showed that most companies have focused on the digitisation of their ‘front-end’, but few have digitised their ‘back-end’ operation. 

“This is where businesses’ employees work, and our research shows that many are faced with using old, manual and disconnected processes and systems,” she said.  

“Our research earlier this year showed that just 55% of UK employees believe they get the most value out of the digital services available to them at work; and a similar percentage that they feel that they are not provided with adequate access to the technology needed to do their job properly.
