Who are the employees that can be the most detrimental to your staff’s output?
Doctor Judith Orloff is a Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA. She believes that there are five types of workers that can turn offices into HR nightmares.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Orloff says that the different categories are the narcissist, the anger addict, the passive-aggressive, the guilt-tripper, and the gossip. Co-workers corresponding to any of these personalities are bound to make work more difficult for employees and HR managers alike.
The narcissist craves attention and requires endless praise. Orloff explains: “Some are obnoxious ego-maniacs, but others can be quite charming. Both know how to belittle you and make you serve them.”
