Bosses reveal most demanding workplace generation

Which generation has been revealed as being more demanding than both their younger and older peers?

New research from Cascade HR surveyed 1,000 bosses and senior level managers to find out which age group is the most demanding out of Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials and Generation Z.

63% of bosses stated that Millennials required more guidance and support from managers than any of the other generations. Generation X however was perceived as being the most self-sufficient workers. 39% of bosses believed employees from Generation X were the best at working independently.

While there is no exact date definition of Millennials, it is generally agreed that they were born in the 1980s to the early 2000s.
