A retail employee has caused an online stir after sharing an email she received from her CEO regarding her appearance.
Sherene Marie Zarrabi worked for fashion chain Dainty Hooligan in Stillwater, Oklahoma, however she felt compelled to leave her role after receiving a disconcerting message from Jessica Issler, company Founder and CEO.
The email was in reference to Zarrabi having taken some photos of herself wearing clothes from the brand, and uploading them to the companies Instagram page, according to Mashable.
Issler emailed both Zarrabi and her supervisor, writing: “Something I want to make sure you keep in mind: I want size small, the stereotypical ‘model’ type to model our clothes. Please use our pictures of our models, if Stillwater store can't find someone who would be considered ‘model material’.
