Cadbury announces identity of new Milk Tray Man

Cadbury has unveiled their new Milk Tray Man, and he is not afraid of putting himself at risk for a good cause.

Patrick McBride is 39-year-old firefighter from Liverpool and the next in line to don the iconic black Milk Tray Man turtle neck jumper.

The adventurous character first appeared in 1968. Since then, seven men have held the role of the man who would go to extremes to deliver a box of Milk Tray chocolate. Amongst other things, the character has skied down mountains, stowed away on jet planes and dived off cliffs.

McBride – who managed to beat 20,000 other aspiring Milk Tray Men to the role – is no stranger to danger. He has combined his 14 year career as a firefighter with modelling work.
