Bill Gates, Co-Founder of Microsoft and Co-Chairman of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, has revealed how he used to monitor employees working hours.
Gates memorised their license plates so he could track when they were arriving and leaving.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, he confessed to being “fanatical about work” in his twenties.
“I had to be a little careful not to try and apply my standards to how hard [my staff] worked,” he said.
