Astbury Marsden: Prepare for a lower bonus…

“Pressure from shareholders and politicians” could cause bonuses to dip this upcoming year.

Research by Astbury Marsden has found that 35% of City workers are expecting larger bonuses than last year. Managing Directors and Partners anticipate the largest bonus - £99,985 (61% of average salary).  

Directors and Executive Directors have the second-highest bonus expectations - £47,195 (37% of average salary).

Adam Jackson, Managing Director of Astbury Marsden, said: "City workers generally appear to be feeling buoyant about bonus prospects this year.
