Wolf of Wall Street: Take pre-emptive risks
One of the more controversial of DiCaprio’s roles, but nevertheless one which would probably resonate the most with recruiters. The biopic shows the life of Jordan Belfort, an infamous stockbroker who climbed the American business ladder, making some questionable decisions along the way. And though some of his actions are not exactly recommended, he knew how to take risks, something that is needed within recruitment in the year ahead.
Speaking to Recruitment Grapevine, Ann Swain, CEO at APSCo, commented on the need for speculation in 2016, saying: “2015 has been a good year and will give people the confidence to step out and take more risks going forward, opening up in Europe especially. Whilst people are still going to be cautiously optimistic in 2016, there will be continued growth with a bit less caution.”
