From disgruntled baristas to peeved off hotel staff, one Reddit thread has seen employees revealing the truth about their trades.
The post included confessions from retail, hospitality and even security workers, with the anecdotes ranging from playfully bizarre to downright illegal.
One café employee admitted that if a customers was rude to her when ordering their morning coffee, she would give them decaf. Hotel staff claimed that bedsheets often went unwashed in guest’s room, writing: “The down blankets are not always washed, only the sheets and thin blankets.
“The top cover is only washed on occasion but not after every check out. I don't know if all hotels are like this, but the ones I worked at are.”
