National House-Building Council hires Head of HR

The National House-Building Council (NHBC) has appointed an Head of HR.

Carol Davies joins from BGL Group, where she was Associate Director – Group HR. She has also worked for Nationwide Building Society as a Senior HR Business Partner.

Davies said: "It's fantastic to be joining NHBC at such an important time of growth in the house-building industry. As the UK's leading warranty provider, NHBC has a key role to play in ensuring the quality of new homes and I'm relishing the opportunity to help NHBC achieve its plans for growth and ongoing success."

NHBC Chief Executive Mike Quinton said: "I am delighted to appoint Carol Davies as our new Head of Human Resources. At a time when NHBC is looking to increase staff numbers and enhance support for the house-building industry, Carol's invaluable skills and experience will be a great asset. Carol joins us at a critical time for the house-building industry where NHBC plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of new build homes."
