61% of City workers prepared to move jobs

Nearly two-thirds (61%) of City workers are prepared to move jobs if they are not rewarded with a satisfactory compensation package this year. That’s according to research by Astbury Marsden.

City AM reports that this figure is an increase from 51% of workers who said the same last year. And only 45% in 2013.

Only 27% of respondents said they would want an internal promotion with their existing employer in order to secure a pay rise or bonus.

More than one in ten (13%) say they would take no action to improve either their compensation or their future prospects. That’s compared to 17% last year.
