George Bailey was never a man to take things on face value. His determination to look deeper in people’s characters meant that he often understood those around him much better than they thought he did. Bedford Falls took Violet Bick for a vain and manipulative women, but Bailey refused to take her on face value, and instead discovered she was a genuine and honest woman.

The recruitment process can often be a long and sometimes arduous period, fraught with potential mis-hires and hidden problems. By being thorough and exact when looking to recruit fresh talent, you can save yourself a lot of time and pain in the long run.
