HR Grapevine Advent Calendar: How Santa recognised the value of diversity in recruitment

North Pole Inc recently appointed a new Sleigh Leader after the CEO, Kris “Santa Claus” Kringle, surprisingly chose to hire talent from outside the company.

Rudolph the Reindeer is set to step in to his new role on Christmas Eve. While most people are settling in for the holidays, Rudolph will be pulling Santa’s sleigh in front of all the other reindeers.

Rudolph will replace Dasher at the front. The former Sleigh Leader will, however, not leave North Pole Inc. Instead, he will ensure a smooth transition as he steps into his newly created role of Assistant Sleigh Manager.

“This is a very exciting time for North Pole Inc and I am looking forward to see Rudolph take the reins of the operations,” Dasher tells HR Grapevine, adding that the new role gives him the chance to spend more time with his family.
