Rob Zajko, Senior Director - Talent Acquisition, EMEA at Hilton Worldwide, spoke to Executive Grapevine to discuss why gamification could be the key to graduate recruitment.

“At Hilton, we are always looking to improve. The processes we have work well at the moment and a lot of our programmes have won awards, not just in the UK but in Europe too, however we are considering using technology more.

“This is not just to make it easier for us, but to give the candidates an even better experience all round. We’re looking at whether it’s something that could be used to help candidates decide on the right career path for them.

“Utilising Virtual Reality may also provide some exciting opportunities. Technology plays an increasing part in recruitment, specifically with young people. They are very heavily linked to technology and aware of what new technology is coming down the line. So we can incorporate that into our hiring process.
