HR Grapevine Advent Calendar: The Grinch who was integrated into the workplace

The HR department at Whoville Town Council have been celebrating the magnificent turnaround of their latest employee – the Grinch.

Grinch was initially working remotely from Mount Crumpit. His reasoning for this was a previous conflict with Augustus May Who, the Mayor of Whoville. A workplace love triangle involving the two and Martha May Who, which resulted in the Grinch nearly ruining Christmas.

Speaking to HR Grapevine at the time of his flexible working, Grinch said: “I don't know why I ever leave this place. I've got all the company I need right here. Just me and Max. Max? Max? Max?”

There were, however, misgivings about his answering machine message, which went: “If you utter so much as one syllable, I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN AND GUT YOU LIKE A FISH! If you'd like to fax me, press the star key.”
