Hilcorp employees given $100k each by CEO Jeffrey Hildebrand

Christmas has come early for the employees who were each awarded a $100,000 (£65,919) bonus just weeks before the holidays.

Hilcorp is an American oil company. Jeffrey Hildebrand is the CEO at the company and 73rd on Forbes list. He is also the person who decided to award all 1,381 of his employees their bonus.

“That was based on doubling the size of Hilcorp over a five-year period and we met that goal”, Amanda Thompson told Fox26. She has been a receptionist at the company for ten years and was one of the people who were given the bonus.

Thompson continued: “And we were all able to celebrate and enjoy that life changing day together. We cried with happiness for each other [and] hugged.”
