Tesco light untangler hired

Following the recent competition to find Britain’s first Christmas Tree Light Untangler (CTLU), Tesco has released a video of the hopeful candidates vying for the position, as well as announcing the winner.

It may seem like something out of a nightmare, but there were dozens of applicants for the festive job. The competition drew in all manner of candidates for the role, which was based at Tesco Extra in Wrexham.

In the video, we see the applicants giving reasons why they're the best person for the position. One man explains that he “has been untangling Christmas light for 20 years.” Another claims that she can call on her transferable skill set, untangling the lights with ease as she does her own knot-riddled hair.
