Autumn statement: What does it mean for HR?

Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne’s last budget heralded the era of the National Living Wage.

Yesterday’s autumn statement, with in-work benefits debated and cuts to police forces mooted, posed other problems. To see what the Chancellor’s announcements mean for HR, read below.     

Free Childcare

From 2017, 30 hours of free childcare will be available for families with three- and four-year-olds whose parents work more than 16 hours a week, and with incomes of less than £100,000.
