While the average salary may be expected to rise by three per cent in 2016, some workers can anticipate their pay to grow more than others.
That is according to Robert Half’s new 2016 Salary Guide. The recruitment agency predicts that the average salaries in the UK will increase by three per cent in 2016, up from 2015’s 2.6%.
However, some roles are expected to rise between 5.7% and 7.4%. Most of those roles are in technology and finance – sectors suffering from skills shortages.
For instance, Gibbs S3 recently warned that the skills shortage in cyber security sectors has reached a crisis point.
