McDonald's fire employee who threw water over homeless man

A McDonald’s worker who threw water over a homeless man as a ‘prank’ has been dismissed by the company.

The video sees the member of staff, who works in Detroit, beckoning over a homeless man - known as Willie – to the window of the drive-thru with a sandwich.

Willie is initially sceptical, but upon seeing the sandwich walks towards the window. When he gets closer, the food is retracted and the worker throws a cup of water over him. Willie says: “Why did you do that?”
