Sydney Opera House names first-ever CTO

Sydney Opera House (SOH) has hired its first-ever Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Nic Boling was previously a Technical Support Team Leader there.

An SOH spokesperson said: “As CTO, Nic will lead the management and development of all ICT resources, infrastructure and operations for our corporate, commercial, building and theatre-related activities.”

They also added that he was hired because “[he] has a strong strategic and operational understanding of what technology needs to deliver in Sydney Opera House’s corporate and production environments.”
