Apple CEO Tim Cook announces death of the office PC

Apple CEO Tim Cook has declared an end to the office PC, promising a new wave of sleeker workplace devices.

The age of the traditional workplace computer may be at an end, having been left behind by phones, tablets, notebooks and laptops. But, if you look at the average office now compared to just ten years ago, little has really changed.

However, all of that is set to change if Cook gets his way, as he is eager to point out.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Cook questioned why we are content to use outdated PCs in our offices whilst we would never really consider buying one for ourselves at home; especially not over all the other devices currently on the market.
