NASA hiring new generation of spacemen

NASA is seeking a new class of traveller.

For the first time since 2011, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is openly recruiting new candidates in a bid to put humans on Mars. The previous recruitment drive was halted following the closure of the shuttle programme, according to The Guardian.

However, having recuperated, the association has announced that it will begin accepting submissions in December in order to prepare candidates for the expeditions. According to the NASA application process, the requirements for potential spacemen and women include; a bachelor’s degree in engineering, biological science, physical science, or mathematics; and at least three years of post-degree professional experience, or at least 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command time in a jet aircraft.
