Obama praises police officer who had dance-off with teen

President Barack Obama has praised a police officer who alleviated a potentially confrontational situation by instigating a dance-off.

Thinking outside of the box, the officer managed to incorporate fun in to her duties by dispersing a crowd with dance. At a time when race relations are at boiling point, this display of community spirit has helped the employer brand of the police force no end.

According to The Washington Post, while trying to disperse a crowd, Aaliyah Taylor walked up to the police officer while playing Silentó’s Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae). She then did the Nae Nae dance.
