Google employee living in van to save money

A Google employee is saving time and money by living in a rented van in the company’s car park.

The man, known only as Brandon S, decided against the expensive apartments in San Francisco. Instead, he chose to sleep in a 128-square-foot truck.

In an interview with Business Insider, Brandon explained that the idea began to formulate during his internship at Google. Here he was expected to pay £42-per night, roughly translated to £1,300-a month, for a small two bedroomed flat shared between four people.

He explained: “I realised I was paying an exorbitant amount of money for the apartment I was staying in, and I was almost never home.
