Argos appoint Head of HR

Argos has hired a Head of HR – Marketing & Commercial Trading.

Amanda Hamerla joins from Pearson Technology Group, where she was Global HR Director. She has also been a Head of HR at education management company Pearson.

She has also worked for Smith & Williamson, Sodexo, and Lloyds TSB.

She graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2003 with a BA in Business Studies, specialising in HR.
