Air France has suspended five employees after the Head of HR and a fellow executive had their clothes ripped off by staff, following the announcement of 2,900 job cuts.
The airline has confirmed that 20 employees were subject to disciplinary hearings, and that the five suspended staff would face trial for aggravated violence on December 2.
Xavier Broseta, Head of Human Resources, was forced to climb over a fence in just his tie and trousers, after his shirt and jacket were torn off.
