Sugar and Hewer reveal Apprentice prediction problems

Lord Sugar and Nick Hewer have both given their opinions on the difficulties of candidate assessment on The Apprentice.

Speaking on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Lord Sugar said he changes his mind throughout the show: "Every single year it's exactly the same and I suppose the viewers must have the same feeling, because you see the first episode and you think 'that one is going to win,' or 'this one is going to win,' and then, as the episodes go on, you change your mind, and it happens with us also.”

However, Nick Hewer, a former Aide to Lord Sugar on the TV show, said the opposite at Citation event in London last month. He said the best candidate is easily identifiable early on.

When asked about the selection process, Hewer said that The Apprentice team are not involved in choosing who goes on the show. It is the BBC who decides the candidates.
