Britain's biggest takeover of SABMiller to create 225,000+ workforce

SABMiller will be selling itself to Anheuser-Busch InBev for £68billion in what will be the biggest takeover of a British company.

This will create a workforce that nearly totals a quarter of a million.

According to Forbes, the total number of employees at Anheuser-Busch InBev is 154,029. Statista.com says that SABMiller employees 67,946 people; 28,162 in Latin America, 24,802 in Africa, 9,810 in Europe, 5,048 in Asia Pacific, and 124 in North America.

In a statement, the Boards of the two firms said they had "reached agreement in principle on the key terms of a possible recommended offer."
