Tesla CEO says Apple is 'graveyard' for ex-employees

Elon Musk claims that his employees refer to Apple as the “Tesla Graveyard."

The outspoken Chief Executive made the comment to the German paper Handelsblatt whilst dismissing claims that his high-ranking staff had been poached by Apple.

Musk said: “We always jokingly call Apple the ‘Tesla Graveyard.’ If you don’t make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I’m not kidding.”

Tesla and Apple are two of several companies said to be looking into autonomous cars. But when Musk was asked about the potential competition from Apple on the automotive market, he just laughed: “Did you ever take a look at the Apple Watch?
