Brand engagement can improve staff motivation by 94%

Internal brand engagement has been found to improve staff motivation by 94%, according to a recent study.

The report, commissioned by Involve, has found that though companies are spending more and more money on brand promotion, internal communication is often overlooked, much to businesses peril. With HR operating at the heart of employee satisfaction and development, Ben Kingsmill considers what human resources departments can do to help improve this pandemic.

“Our belief is that many companies make the assumption that their employees must be engaged with the company's brand values and vision just because they work there,” explains Kingsmill.  

“Therefore, they don’t feel they have to make major investment in engaging their teams, in the same way they do with potential customers. They are missing out on the fact that engaged employees are infinitely more effective and can become the most vocal and dedicated brand ambassadors.”
